Li'l Tees are designed by the folks at Boxelder, Inc. Boxelder was established in 1989 to make and sell M.C. Escher licensed silk neckties. Since then, we have been a leader in the gift and museum market with our art-inspired neckwear.

As much as we love ties, we decided to branch out. Over the years we’ve come across great vintage art and designs that portray childhood in such sweet and innocent ways but we never knew what do with them. But when product developer Laura Stratte gave birth to her son, Ned in 2003, we had an epiphany: Rather than spend loads of money on really cute baby things that other people make, why not make our own? And Li'l Tees were born.
